As director of Payer and Life Sciences in the Thought Leadership Team in the Office of the Chief Technology and Innovations Officer at HIMSS, Shelley Price leads the organization's efforts around payer, life sciences, and data and analytics – including population health, secondary use of data, and clinical & business intelligence (C&BI) – as a subject matter expert and organizer for the C&BI Committee, task forces and community of over 8,600 members. In these roles, she works with HIMSS volunteers, industry leaders, and other subject matter experts to develop thought leadership, content, educational sessions, policy recommendations, and other resources and tools to turn data in to action and deliver on the triple-aim of value-based healthcare. She is also a national speaker on data and analytics, precision medicine, population health, life sciences, and driving to a value-based health system through new care delivery and payment models.
