Sue Clarke is a registered nurse (Adult), currently working as a Clinical Informatician at NHS Digital. Sue’s roles at NHS Digital include working on the Global Digital Exemplar Programme, and latterly working on digital applications relevant to the management of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sue has previously worked at a large Acute Teaching Trust as a Ward Manager and Matron before undertaking Trust-wide positions, facilitating the implementation of electronic rostering across the Trust and leading a team of nurses to implement electronic observations, electronic handover and automatic escalation of sick patients. Sue is passionate about improving patient outcomes by utilising digital capability and data, without placing additional burden on the clinician. Sue has recently completed a Florence Nightingale Foundation Leadership Scholarship.
