Todd MacCallum, BA, CPHIMS, FHIMSS is the Global Healthcare Practice Lead for Mobia Technology Innovations. He is also a HIMSS Fellow and transitioning from President to Past-President of the Ontario HIMSS chapter. Todd is a pragmatic and strategic thinker who is skilled at building consensus, leading change, inspiring people and effectively stewarding resources.

Over the last 25 years, Todd has had the opportunity to work with a vast number of healthcare clients while working for some of the industry’s top performers including: GE, Price Waterhouse Coopers and KPMG. These clients included a wide variety of organizations across the health care sector including acute care, hospitals, cardiology centers, accountable care organizations and large health systems.

Todd has long been an advocate for HIMSS across the healthcare IT community in North America and has served in numerous leadership roles within the Ontario Chapter of HIMSS, working closely with HIMSS leadership to relaunch the HIMSS Chapter and brand in Ontario. This included the recruitment of board members, the establishment of a new strategic plan and empowering committee chairs in recruitment and operationalizing their individual committee teams. Through personal networks, he successfully recruited 8 executive leaders in healthcare to join the board, launched three committees, recruited 16 committee volunteers and oversaw initiatives that drove an overall increase in chapter membership from 460 members to 570 members over a twelve-month period.
Todd has provided thought leadership in collaboration with providers and vendors across North America as a contributing author of the HIMSS (mHIMSS) Roadmap which is presently being used by vendors and providers as a foundational go-to-market tool and care delivery framework.

In addition to his involvement with HIMSS, Todd serves on several boards, steering committees and working groups including: Algonquin College Digital Health Program Steering Committee, Digital Health Canada, CHIME, Startup Health, College of Canadian Health Leaders, Intelligent Health Association and Hacking Health. He engages regularly with healthcare association executive leaders on adapting to changes in the industry while aligning with the emerging needs of the marketplace in order to maximize value for members. Todd has been serving on the board of directors for Vantage IT Corporation, Inc. since 2017 and has been CEO and founder of Sheffield Healthcare IT Consulting since 2012.

Todd is leading collaboration efforts across several Fortune 100 healthcare vendors in developing targeted use-cases to drive new clinical and population health delivery models through the use of industry standard approaches and technologies.
Todd possesses a breadth of experience and insight from projects across North America regarding best practices and lessons learned as they relate to successfully driving sustainable change within healthcare. He is passionate about seeing meaningful change happen in the industry to reduce system costs while improving access to care and patient outcomes - either as an advocate or through providing input into specific projects.
