Use and Characteristics of Electronic Health Record Systems Among Office-based Physician Practices: United States, 2001–2012; NCHS Data Brief, No 111

This brief discusses the trends in adoption of electronic health records (EHR) for all states from 2001 to 2012.  Participation in meeting core set objectives from all states are also discussed.  All statistics were gathered from office-based practices, and were submitted via mailed surveys from National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey (NAMCS).  There are also helpful definitions within the brief.
