Digital transformation - addressing global health challenges through local solutions
Healthcare is delivered at local level within the lines of national jurisdictions, yet common challenges exist across nations and regions. Some regions are facing particular challenges of rising demand created by aging populations with increased co-morbidities, while at the same time their healthcare workforce capacities are reducing drastically. Throughout the world new models of health system preparedness and resilience are having to be developed to address the challenges climate change and emerging diseases. Join this session to meet fellow healthcare leaders and experts from around the world to share ideas and experiences on how digital transformation of health and care at local level can contribute to overcoming challenges that affect us all.

DACH Workshop Monday: Health data management: how to make data work for healthcare?
This workshop aims to create a basis of reference for the following Lunch & Learn sessions by discussing thecurrent trends in the D-A-CH region. The upcoming large scale electronic health record rollout and the necessity of interfaces for example to patient portals portray some of the hottest topics in the D-A-CH region. Learn what trends are to be expected after the implementation of these partly long overdue legislative measures. What are the needs / demands for end to end process support and what future does artificial intelligence bring regarding process support, patient care and clinical innovation?
DACH Lunch & Learn Tuesday: 2 Prominent US case studies on process support and implementation
As we are looking towards new Hospital Information Systems, and how to implement these, we are sometimes wondering: IT should follow the process, yes, but who is defining those processes, and who is the end responsible? Learn from two prominent US hopitals how they organize process management after implementation, so that it helps with the improvements on a continuous basis.
