Cris Ross is Chief Information Officer of Mayo Clinic. He is a member of the Health IT Standards Committee; a board member with HIMSS North America, eHealth Initiative and Zipnosis; an advisor to HL7 and Project Argonaut, and has participated in work groups for the American Medical Association on EHR usability and the American Hospital Association on Interoperability. Prior to joining Mayo Clinic he held technical and business leadership roles with Surescripts, CVS/MinuteClinic, and UnitedHealth Group, prior to which he was an entrepreneur and also served in various roles in federal and state government. He has an MBA from Yale School of Management and a B.S. in economics from the University of Minnesota.
