The potential of data to transform health services and facilitate research, innovation and global collaborations has never been clearer, but the challenge is to achieve efficient and safe interoperability, allowing the flow of health data from patients, care providers and other sources to support secondary use of data within the framework of safe governance. This session will examine local and international data collaborations, regulations and fair standards, also addressing interoperability across data ecosystems, and how to support open, global research and innovation.
