The Pop Health Forum, Apr. 3-4 in Boston, Privacy & Security Forum, May 11-12, San Francisco and Big Data & Healthcare Analytics Forum also in San Francisco, May 15-16 are all looking for speakers. 12 - 1:00 p.m. Feb. 6 While C-CDA (Consolidated Clinical Document Architecture) is regularly used in data exchange across the health IT community, the various types of C-CDA documents available for exchange are not well understood. This Roundtable will describe the 12 document types defined in C-CDA, highlight the similarities and differences of the sections within those documents, and show how C-CDA document and section templates can be leveraged as building blocks for more meaningful data exchange. The HIMSS Physician Community Works towards Improving National Healthcare
Each year, the HIMSS Physician Community, led by its chair and compromised of 11 total committee members, meets in person with HIMSS staff for a full day of dialogue. The annual meeting took place in December at the HIMSS Innovation Center, at the Global Center for Health Innovation, in Cleveland, Ohio, where the committee had the opportunity to tour the new HIMSS Cybersecurity Hub.
