WARD-CSS enables 24/7 deterioration detection in General wards.  WARD-CSS is a clinically validated nurse app which filters data from any continuous vital sign sensor through proprietary algorithms, validated by the WARD research project www.ward247.org (2300 patients, 700 patient RCT’s). With an average of 5 clinically relevant alerts/patient/day and a sensitivity of 98%, nurses can monitor several patients per nurse in the general wards, with app alerts (only) when a given set of deviating vital signs are clinically relevant.
