Nine months of training, years of executive growth

Developed with program chair Isaiah Nathaniel and a team of experienced CIOs, our curriculum will help you and your organization achieve better outcomes, reduce costs, and improve quality of patient care.

You'll get years’ worth of on-the-job experience in just nine months of in-depth professional development. And that cohort you'll join? They'll become your lifelong work community.

You'll learn how to:

Enhance teams of IT pros

You'll learn how to manage your workforce, build strategic partnerships, and rally people behind your vision.

Transforming health systems takes a whole team and you'll learn structured ways to bring your strategy to life.

Keep hackers away

You'll explore cybersecurity strategies that stop bad actors in their tracks and how to respond to breaches.

That means regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, security audits, and post-breach responses.

Deliver patient-enabled care

You'll explore how technology can give patients more agency—and more personalized treatment, too.

You’ll explore how AI, machine learning, and hospital-at-home improve patient care. You’ll be ready to lead your organization along the cutting edge.

Future-proof your IT

Our experts will show you how to build an IT infrastructure that can adapt to the pace of healthcare innovation.

That means AI integration, scalable approaches to patient data, and interoperable systems.

Become a confident, connected IT executive

Build tight-knit connections at the top with cohort-based learning

Tap into a network of fellow healthcare CIOs, right from day one.

Along the way, you'll grow with your cohort of learners to form strong bonds with peers who share your goals and challenges. You'll meet other C-suite executives from across healthcare systems, too.

After you complete the program, you'll be invited to our slate of exclusive year-round networking events, like the HIMSS Global Health Conference.

Unlock our health system leadership resource vault

We'll engage you year-round with live online sessions, self-paced digital learning, hosted conversations, online communities, and in-person events.

You'll gain valuable access to publications, whitepapers, case studies, session recordings from the HIMSS Global Health Conference, and so much more.

Plus, you'll earn continuing education hours and a certificate of completion proving you've got the expertise needed to lead.

Network with other chief information officers in the healthcare space

We'll lead you through monthly virtual sessions and a 2.5-day, in-person immersive experience (hosted in San Antonio, TX) built specifically for aspiring and newly promoted CIOs.

You'll get to meet your cohort members, collaborate, and network with people whose professional goals line right up with yours.
