Dr. Hamid Ghanbari

Hamid Ghanbari received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from McMaster University. He received his Medical Degree from the American University of the Caribbean. He completed his residency and Cardiology fellowship at Providence Hospital. He completed a Masters in Public Health during his Cardiology fellowship from Wayne State University. After completing his fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at University of Michigan he was recruited as faculty in the Division of Cardiology.   Dr. Ghanbari's research interests include atrial fibrillation ablation and using advanced signal processing and machine-learning algorithms to predict outcomes in patients with atrial fibrillation. He has published in several prominent medical journals including Archives of Internal Medicine, Heart Rhythm, Journal of Interventional Cardiac Electrophysiology, Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology and American Journal of Cardiology.
