HIMSS digital maturity models - All About Outcomes

Health systems across the globe are facing the challenges of improving clinical outcomes for patients and populations, financial sustainability, and the operational efficiency that supports their workforce. Without globally applicable standards to follow, it can be hard to assess and improve progress. HIMSS Digital Maturity Models, led by the flagship model Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM), provide prescriptive frameworks to help healthcare organisations build their digital health ecosystems. In this session you will discover how the maturity models are applied, how they work and what they measure.

Experts will discuss when to use each model, what to do with the results and how the models help with procurement, deployment and measuring progress. They will also explore how to create benchmarking opportunities, identify good practice, and use a reference site visit. You will leave this session understanding the assessment and validation process and what good looks like.
