Opening Ceremony: Reimagine Health - Empowering Tomorrow's Digital Health Ecosystems

The Opening Ceremony will be an opportunity to welcome delegates to the first HIMSS conference in the Middle East for four years, setting the backdrop for this year’s inspiring agenda, and how its key themes relate to the Vision 2030 Health Sector Transformation Programme. A series of VIP healthcare leaders will give an overview of the work that has been going on in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region, and particularly around how the latest technologies are being used to transform healthcare here and globally.

Our highly esteemed and diverse speaker line-up will set the scene for topics ranging from educating the workforce through to governance, collaborative working and progress being made in digital healthcare. They will also flag up some of the highlights to look out for.

The session will challenge delegates to use the two days of the conference as a means of exploring how their own work can relate to the strategic framework to advance the digital transformation of their health systems.
